Carson City Sheriff: marijuana-related shooting involving multiple minors brings new arrests

One victim was treated for minor head injuries, while the second victim was transported to Renown Medical Center by Careflight for treatment. Both have since been released from the hospital.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has determined that no other suspects are being sought at this time. The fourth juvenile will be returned to Carson City, where he will be charged similarly to those already in custody.

Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said Sunday afternoon in a news releases that four juveniles have been taken into custody in relation to a shooting. Of the juveniles, ages 13-16 years, two were from Carson City and one from Douglas County. Go here for the latest update regarding the arrests.
