Reno Aces finish baseball season in winning form

Reno finished with a 72-68 record, going 30-20 since the All-Star break. The Aces averaged more than 5,000 fans a game, and 4,186 turned out on a warm, sunny Monday Labor Day.

Aces catcher Perez traded, promoted to big leagues

Catcher Michael Perez was called up to the big leagues today, but not with the team Reno Aces fans expected.

Reno’s parent team, the Arizona Diamondbacks traded Perez and Single-A right-hand pitcher Brian Shaffer to Tampa Bay for right-handed reliever Matt Andriese. Perez is in the lineup in the Rays game at Baltimore.

Aces pitcher Barry Enright happy to be back in Reno
