Carson High School student creates mock teen bedroom to help parents spot warning signs

Partnership Carson City youth high school program participant Nancy Mejorado, 17, is creating a mock teenage bedroom for parents and community leaders to better know how to spot drugs among youth belongings.

The mock bedroom, which is Mejorado’s Carson High School senior project, opens to the public 2:30-7 p.m. Jan. 22-23 at Partnership’s main office, 1925 N. Carson St.

Carson City student picked as Society for Range Management delegate at upcoming forum

Carson High School Senior Cade Crookshanks, 17, has been selected by the Nevada Section of the Society for Range Management to participate in the High School Youth Forum, a SRM sponsored youth activity held jointly during the 73 Annual SRM meeting.
