For ages 10-14, join us virtually via Zoom. Do you enjoy coding? Then join us for one hour of computer programming each month! No prior experience needed. This month, join Alex and Lonnie as they learn about coding by creating fun, interactive pictures. Learn about sequence, loops, events, and actions as you create wild creatures in this exciting adventure!

In honor of Earth Day, we’ll be reading about the how the land around us is affected by humans, animals and weather, and getting familiar with GLOBE Observer’s Land Cover community science project. We'll also do a fun recycling craft! If you'd like to follow along at home, you'll just need four jars, a marker, paper and/or the template listed below under Attachments.

There are two delicious versions of this edible craft; here are the supplies you need: 1. bread, banana, nut butter, butter knife and chocolate chips or raisins; 2. graham cracker, large and small marshmallows, frosting, knife, scissors and chocolate chips or raisins.

Join us once a month to relax through art! Every month we will explore a different technique to use art to help de-stress. For the month of January, we will be making handwoven potholders. Registration is required. Zoom link will be sent out morning of the program.
