CARSON CITY — Tell Me You Love Me Short Romance Film competition is now open for registration. Starting on Wednesday, Jan. 30, registered filmmakers will have exactly one week to conceive, write, produce and complete a short romance film that’s between 5- and 9-minutes long.

All of the films will be screened at a special dinner and screening event at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City on Valentine's Day.

In a weekend prelude to Valentine's Day, animal rescue organizations staged adoption events in Carson City Saturday to spread a little kitty and puppy love.

Special guest at this month's PetSmart event! We'll be there from 11:00 - 3:00 for a special Valentine's Day adoption, with about a dozen of our awesome dogs and puppies, and a special appearance by everyone's favorite valentine, Schatzi

Will also have some special dog treat valentines available for a 5.00 donation to the rescue.
