Policy change regarding political letters and press releases

From its inception, Carson Now has been the place where anyone could submit stories, photos, opinions, etc. about local issues.

We can do this because the site has been engineered to have two tiers for where content resides. The front page offers a filtered view of the content on Carson Now, as determined by our staff based on what we feel is newsworthy.

NNDA: Shared Abundance for the Sierra Region

We all grew up learning to share with each other and with most things in life, some learn better than others. It’s with this thought in mind that we reflect on the idea of shared abundance.

First, we all need to focus on the many things we have to be thankful for. We have been blessed with great richness here. The wonderful lifestyle we have is hard to be critical of. Our communities have leaders who care about our collective future.

Graham's Word: Chase Your Dreams; No Matter What

Sometimes we all need to remind ourselves of who we really are. To stay true to ourselves. It's been an honor and privilege doing what I do.

Whether its inside the broadcast booth or doing community service outside the booth. There are days that I need to remind myself that I'm not the only one who has expectations of me to succeed.

My own expectations are the toughest for sure, but I am well aware that what I do also impacts others.

I needed to go back and refresh my memory of just who expects me to do well, and who I need to continue to be.
