Antonio and Alexis Trujillo’s family, and Jordan and Theodore Leyva’s family are now displaced following this incident.
Carson City School District retains half of state’s CETL designees

There are only four CETLs in the state of Nevada: two in the Carson City School District and two in the Washoe County School District.

Additionally, Franceska Quintana, para professional IV at Carson Middle School, was recognized as the Classified Employee of the Year for the district.

Your early morning coffee might even come with a specially made heat sleeve in honor of the occasion. The Carson City Library is continually bringing something new to our community. Today, you can get certified to use their laser cutter and engraver in the new Maker Space, or you can get a dose of some international flavor. Their Diversity in Action program features Peruvian and Latin American Folkloric music, and is suitable for all ages.
Carson City's Proscenium Players, Inc. theater group to host light and sound tech workshop

We will have two professionals in the field of performance lighting and sound to teach us all how it’s done. This will cover both the Performance Hall and the MHJ Black Box Theater on the Brewery Arts Center campus in Carson City.

In an effort to address social and emotional needs of students, CHS is presenting the SOS (Signs of Suicide) Prevention Program.
Freshman health classes were the first reached in February. The JROTC students and health science classes are next.

Here at CHS, this new school year brings a list of new students, new clubs, and new activities to the desk and table of CHS teachers and students, and because time passes so quickly when busy, it is easy to become stressed with anxiety and succumb to its temptations.
