The Carson City Kiwanis Annual Spaghetti Feed will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center located at 911 Beverly Drive. The entirety of the funds raised from this event will support the Carson City Senior Citizen’s Center’s Meals on Wheels program.

WNC hosts first Carson City campus Posada Christmas celebration

A first of its kind Christmas party at Western Nevada College, known as Posada, was celebrated Saturday at the campus in Carson City.

Carson City Senior Center makes Christmas delivery for hundreds of homebound seniors

The Carson City Senior Center collected more than 550 gifts from area residents and businesses for homebound seniors this year. The Carson City Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels program delivers almost 300 meals to homebound seniors daily. In the past year, the Center has provided over 79,500 hot meals.

Flavors of India brings North Indian cuisine to Carson City at Saturday grand opening

An old-fashioned “Holiday Open House” returns to Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park Saturday, December 9 and 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm both days.

The exhibit includes toys from the 1870s through the 1890s that were played with by Fred Dangberg, Jr., and his siblings, as well as numerous toys enjoyed by Fred’s five children and one grandson from the 1900s through the 1940s.

Hub Coffee Roasters is open for business at The Union eatery in Carson City

CARSON CITY – The Union’s coffee shop, the second arm of the restaurant’s eatery, coffee bar and tap house trifecta, has spent the last week perfecting processes and procedures and has announced it will be open daily at 7 a.m. The coffee bar entrance is located on Curry Street, behind The Union at 302 N. Carson City arrests: Woman jailed for attempting to steal $600 in merchandise from Walmart

A 35-year old Carson City woman was arrested Monday afternoon for misdemeanor suspicion of petit larceny and violation of alternative sentencing conditions after attempting to steal merchandise from Walmart, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

The Littlest Things Hosts Summer Tea Party

The Littlest things will be holding our annual tea party at the Governor's Mansion this year.

This event is one of our two annual fundraisers helping to raise funds for the animals we rescue and the farm animals in our petting zoo.

The American Tea Mistresses will be there. We have a great silent Auction planned, terrific raffle prizes, food and tea!

The Littlest Things non-profit rescues animals, holds petting zoo events teaching families how to care for farm animals, and hosts kindness events in the community.
