Carson Senators MTB cycling team cap undefeated season with state championship win

Fifteen teams and more than 300 athletes from Nevada and the Eastern Sierra competed in the Nevada Interscholastic Cycling League championship on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Western Nevada College. The event drew more than 800 riders and spectators and was hosted by WNC and Visit Carson City.

The Carson Senators MTB Cycling team won their fourth race in a row at Hidden Valley Regional Park on Sunday, Oct. 15. The Senators have won every race in the Nevada Interscholastic Cycling League this season.

September 24, 2023 - 9:00am The Carson Senators Cycling MTB team took the top step on the podium at the Walker River Rendezvous cross country mountain bike meet Sunday Sept. 24 at Walker River Recreation Area in Yerington.
Fifteen teams from northern Nevada and the eastern Sierra participated in the meet. With Carson taking 1st, Mammoth 2nd, and Galena 3rd.
