The Capital City Arts Initiative presents its exhibition, "Callosum", by LB Buchan at the CCAI Courthouse Gallery.

The exhibition will be in the gallery from July 9 – October 21, 2021. The Courthouse is located at 885 E Musser Street, Carson City.

Carson City commission OKs permit for proposed 5-story, 253-unit apartment complex

The Carson City Planning Commission has approved a request for a Special Use Permit to build a 253-unit apartment project known as the Stewart Street Apartments.

The project required a special use permit due to the location being within the Downtown Mixed-Use zoning district.

Brewery Arts Center organizes Carson City’s second 'Unsilent Night' this Sunday

The Brewery Arts Center has teamed up with local arts enthusiast Michael Tedesco once again to organize Carson City’s "Unsilent Night." The event is an original composition by Phil Kline, written specifically to be heard outdoors in the month of December.

Open studio tour, drive-in movie, dancing and more highlight weekend activities in Carson City region

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region. The 2020 Jazz & Beyond Music and Art Festival will include the second annual Carson City Open Studios Tour with multiple locations. Hosted by the Carson City Classic Cinema Club, the Brewery Arts Center is holding a drive-in movie showing of the 1950s classic “Shane” on Saturday. Combined with live music and plenty of dancing, it will be a weekend for all to enjoy! Read on for more information.

The Carson City Jazz and Beyond Music and Art Festival is taking a new direction in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The festival was founded in 2004. This is the first year in which gathering of large crowds at musical events has been restricted due to health concerns.
