Carson Mayor to speak at Democratic luncheon

April 22, 2024 - 1:00pm The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Carson City Mayor Lori Bagwell. Lori began her service on the Board of Supervisors in January, 2015, representing Ward 3, and was elected mayor in 2020. She is currently running for reelection against four other candidates in the June 11 primary. The top two will go on to the November 5th general election.

The services provided by the Clerk-Recorder's Office to attorneys, government agencies, the judicial system, and the general public are mandated by the Nevada Constitution and the Nevada Revised Statutes.

November 6, 2023 - 1:00pm The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Lisa Schuette, who has held the Ward 4 seat on the Carson City Board of Supervisors for the past three years. She also serves on the Audit Committee, the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), the Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), the Board of Health, the Redevelopment Authority, the Redevelopment Authority Citizens Committee, and the Parks and Recreation Commission.

October 23, 2023 - 1:00pm The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Chris Martinovich, PE, Transportation Manager at Carson City Public Works. He is project manager for Preserve Carson City Roads, a campaign designed to educate Carson City drivers about current roadway conditions, preservation solutions, potential funding sources, and what will happen if sufficient investments are not made to preserve our roads. Chris' presentation will be a status report on progress his project team has made to date.

The Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (CAMPO) next meeting is expected to take place on Wednesday, Oct. 12 beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Robert ‘Bob’ Crowell Board Room in the Carson City Community Center, located at 851 E. William Street.
The Carson City Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) will have their meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 12 following the CAMPO meeting in the same location.
