The Carson City Foster Family Support and Recruitment Coalition, see our website here, will have an entry in the Nevada Day Parade again this year and is calling for volunteers to walk with us and hand out flyers telling folks to come talk with Foster Family recruiter Lori Nichols about Foster Care at the FamFest after the parade.

Tasha Costa, an organizer of the Occupy Carson contingent, said participants will scale down the demonstration in honor of the annual Nevada Day celebration, which will be happening downtown at the same time.

The NV Day Parade averages 200 entries from all over Nevada with antique cars & motorcycles, cowboys on horses, Burning Man & Gunfighters shooting in sequences, Marching Bands and tons more!
