June 9, 2024 (All day) The Kids & Horses program is so excited to announce that we have our Gold Sponsor for our 11th annual charity golf tournament on June 9th, at Incline Village Championship Golf Course. Though they have chosen to remain anonymous, their generosity speaks volumes! We could not do what we do without the support of our community, and we are so thankful to all of those who continue to help us change lives.
Memory Loss Workshops at Kids & Horses in Minden, NV

March 26, 2024 - 12:30pm While our name may imply we only work with children, nothing could be further from the truth. For the past 5 years, Kids & Horses has partnered with Connected Horse to offer powerful workshops to individuals with memory loss and their care partners.
Signups begin for fall memory loss workshops hosted by Carson area nonprofit Kids & Horses

Based on research conducted at UC Davis and Stanford Universities, these workshops resulted in significant improvement in mood, increased positive perception of social support, and greater awareness and appreciation of the relationship between the person with memory loss and their care partner.
