RENO — Traditional media has long been thought to shift the perception of social norms. One prevalent example is the use of supermodels in advertising. Research has shown this to impact one’s perception of what is “perceived” as acceptable or normal in regard to body weight.

This annual golf tournament is played in honor of Realtor Alyce McCracken, a resident of Northern Nevada who had a passion for continuing education and training. Proceeds from the tournament benefit local high schools in the communities served by the Sierra Nevada Realtors including the counties of Carson City, Douglas, Churchill, and parts of Lyon.
