Carson City deputies make 4 felony, multiple misdemeanor arrests during weekend

A Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 9:22 a.m. in the area of North Plaza and Washington streets on a felony burglary warrant issued out of Clark County. Charles Roy Dickey, 59, was taken into custody and was being held without bail awaiting extradition, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Cab driver among five arrested in Carson City drug bust

Acting on several tips of drugs allegedly being sold out of a home with children inside and local from a taxi cab driver, Carson City Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Team officers arrested five people Thursday night at a Condor Circle home.

A 53-year-old man was arrested Thursday in the 100 block of East Long Street after he allegedly attempted to burglarize two cars in the parking lot of the Nevada Parole and Probation office, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

Arrested was Robert Allen Stewart on two felony charges of attempted vehicle burglary and a gross misdemeanor charge of possession of burglary tools. He's being held on $12,500 bail.

A 49-year-old Dayton woman faces a gross misdemeanor charge of battery on a police officer and two misdemeanors — disorderly conduct and obstructing and resisting an officer — after being arrested Saturday at Carson and Telegraph streets, a Carson City Sheriff's Office deputy said.

Officers were called to the area at 7:48 p.m. after a passerby reported seeing three intoxicated women rolling around and wrestling on the grass with their dresses up. The three women, all intoxicated, were found in the grass area in front of the Paul Laxalt Building.

Jac Michael Owen was arrested after store security observed him take a t-shirt and two pairs of shorts into the fitting room and then exiting with them concealed. The security guard stated the man then left the store without attempting to pay for the items, leaving in a 2002 Chrysler Prowler.

A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 2000 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of domestic battery, resisting a police officer and marijuana possession, according to a Carson City sheriff's deputy.

Officers were dispatched to a motel in the 2700 block of South Carson Street at 7:43 p.m. on a report of domestic battery. Officers were told a woman was bleeding profusely from her face and that a man told her to get into a car. The woman complied and the vehicle left the scene.

Carson City woman arrested after failing to return borrowed car to owner

A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, a gross misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.

Officers were notified that a vehicle in the possession of the woman had not been returned after she was given permission, earlier, to use it. The vehicle was then reported stolen. Officers located the vehicle in the 200 block of W. Caroline Street and observed the suspect inside.

A 26-year-old man was arrested Saturday on felony drug and firearm charges after he allegedly fired several rounds from a handgun near hiking trails, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.

Jesse Jonathan Sillis-Teran, 26, of Carson City is being held on $27,911 bail. According to the arrest report, officers were dispatched to the area of Silver Saddle Road and Carson River Road for a report of shots fired in the area.

A man and woman were arrested Monday on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office. Mary Jenae Adams, 24, of Carson City and Michael Louis Kizer, 30, of Schurz, Nev., were taken into custody at 9:51 a.m. in the area of Northridge and Roop streets.

Man arrested after allegedly stalking teen at Carson High School track meet

A 58-year-old man was arrested Saturday by Carson City sheriff's deputies on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm on school grounds and stalking, both gross misdemeanor offenses.

The Minden man was at a track meet at Carson High School and was stalking a female student, whom he made contact with a week prior, according to the arrest report. The man handed the student a business card, telling her: "Text me, hey, when you feel the time is right."

Dayton man arrested on felony burglary charge after confronting ex at restaurant

A 41-year-old man was jailed Monday on a felony charge of vehicle burglary and a lesser charge of domestic battery after an argument over taxes and paperwork escalated with his former common law wife at her place of business.

David Alexander of Dayton was being held at Carson City Jail on $28,137 bond. According to the arrest report, Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a casino in the 3800 block of South Carson Street in reference to a domestic battery.
