Mills Park picnic table at a winter day sunrise

Mills Park, Carson City, after a Snowstorm...

Pretty soon we all will face this. Beauty and cold. Our dawn mornings will again be snow filled and quiet, all over Carson City, and in Mills Park. This photograph was taken right after a overnight snow storm at sunrise in Mills Park a few years ago.
Back in the day, Mills Park once served as our municipal golf course. Now it's home to a host of activities. The great rock band Three Dog Night played in the Marv Teixeira Pavilion in 1994 when the his pavilion opened. It was a great show. A great free show!
