New Fitness Class Offerings by Well Being in Carson City

They will be starting a restorative class aimed to give your body a re-set and/or recharge. Participants will be guided through the use of foam rolling and trigger point balls as well as other methods to bring relief to chronic muscle and joint pain areas.

Well Being gym in Carson City is offering a six session program geared to inform, prepare and educate you in the world of stationary bike training and riding. The sessions will be aimed at developing the participants knowledge of proper bike set up, positioning, and pedaling as well as provide a 30 minute “mini-ride” that allow the participants time to apply newly gained skills and concepts.

Free fitness classes in Carson City and Minden next week

Starting Monday, women can attend any classes, which will be a mixed hour of endurance-based exercises.
Regular classes in Carson City are offered at 5, 6 and 8:30 a.m.; noon; and 5:30 p.m. Minden classes are 5, 6, and 9 a.m.; and 5:30 p.m.

Thirty of them came since the medical group hosted a weight loss challenge beginning in January, making her the biggest loser of the group.
Free fitness classes for women offered in Carson City and Minden

“Spring is a good time to start getting healthy for summer,” said owner Nikki Warren. “It’s spring cleaning for your body.”
Beginning Monday, women in Carson City and Minden/Gardnerville can drop in on any class that may interest them. Classes include cross training, TRX, running, cardio dance and a yoga and Pilates mix.
'Train Like A Mudder' fitness program begins in Carson City

The program, offered for six weeks or 12 weeks, is designed for those participating in the Tough Mudder event at Lake Tahoe, June 13-14, and features exercises that are designed to train for specific obstacles in the popular race.
