Wednesday events include a yoga class, the first of what will become monthly "Welcome Wednesday" luncheons at the Carson City Senior Center, a new shift of hours and days at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Salsa dancing at Yaple's Ballroom, country and pop dancing at Carson Lanes, a safety workshop for women and more.
Carson City Symphony to feature 'LatinXpressions' concert Sunday at community center

William Street in Carson City. The concert highlights music and dance of Latin America as well as classical compositions.
Relay for Life fundraiser happening Feb. 25 at Carson City's Firehouse Subs

From 5 to 9 p.m., Firehouse Subs will be donating a portion of their proceeds to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. FireHouse Subs is located at 3120 US-50, Carson City.

Those revised procedures will be the topic at the next Democratic luncheon.

The Thursday, Feb. 20 hike is at Linear ditch, central near Fremont Elementary School. Meet on Cardinal Way off of Saliman Road.
Thursday hikes start at 3 p.m. and are 2-4 miles with duration of about 90 minutes, sometimes with elevation gains of 500’ or more. Water and closed-toed shoes are required.
Hat and poles recommended If weather conditions are bad hikes will be cancelled.

Brewery Arts Center debuts female version of 'The Odd Couple' beginning Friday
