Now in its 11th year, the Concert Under the Stars begins 5:30 p.m. July 10 at the Eagle Valley Golf Course, 3999 Centennial Park Dr. in Carson City. The evening includes world-class and legendary music by Poco, Pure Prairie League and Firefall — as well as the live auction which takes place between performances.

The market is Thursday evenings from 4 to 7 p.m. It is co-located with Healthy Communities’ new community garden, known as the Solidarity Garden. This will offer market patrons the opportunity to join the community garden as well.

The Nature Conservancy Commends Passage of Groundwater Bill

Steve Sisolak. The Nature Conservancy in Nevada is focused on protecting water for the environment and applauds the legislature and Governor for taking this innovative step toward conserving water for communities, for the environment, and for the future.
Carson City Cooperative Extension offering 2 Day Camps - How to Raise Small Farm Critters

Area 4-H leaders will bring their animals for attendees, 9 – 14 years of age, to work with in these hands on day camps.
