Luckily for Carson City, there are numerous great places to get a cup of joe: Comma Coffee, Dutch Bros., Carson Coffee, Cracker Box... the list goes on. Celebrate National Coffee Day however and where ever you’d like. New to Tuesdays in town are a five course Basque dinner at Capital Eats inside Westside Pour House with a new offering each week. Reservations are recommended if you don’t want to miss it.
Banned Books Week: Celebrating the Freedom to Read, Sept. 27-Oct. 3, 2015

Carson City Library will host a “Virtual Read-Out” during Banned Books Week, bringing together our community in shared support of the freedom to seek and express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular.
