Local non-profit GREENevada announced Thursday the winners of the 2020 Golden Pinecone Sustainability Awards, a prestigious annual event recognizing local individuals and organizations working towards a more sustainable Nevada.

JobConnect hosts Northern Nevada manufacturing job fair Wednesday

The Nevada JobConnect will hold a Job Fair for those looking for a job in the manufacturing industry on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Reno Town Mall at 4001 S. Virginia St., Reno.

As Nevada continues to recover from the recession, employers are steadily adding jobs to the economy, creating more opportunities for jobseekers, said Renee Olson, administrator for Nevada’s Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s Employment Security Division, which oversees Nevada JobConnect.

Movie Review: Aniston and Rudd catch 'Wanderlust'

Crime Log: Dayton man arrested for felony pot possession

A truck with a suspended registration led to the arrest of a Dayton man for felony possession of more than one ounce of marijuana.
