In this class, we will learn pouring techniques combined with artistic knife and brush work with color and design in mind.
“Anyone can do this!” says Childs, who has been painting professionally for over two decades and playing with Acrylic pouring is one of her new fascinations.

After a week of working on their projects, students showed off their works of art at the school on Thursday, May 22nd. With a fourth grade violinist playing in the background, family and friends strolled around looking at over 400 creative and original masterpieces.

The school has invited local artists into the classroom to share their expertise and creativity with the students. “Art taps into all parts of the brain and allows us to reach students who have talents that otherwise would not be realized,” stated Principal Mary Garey.
