CHS Band Fundraiser at Pizza Factory happening Tuesday, Aug. 17

Eat pizza and support Carson High School bands! Pizza Factory in Carson City will donate 20 percent of all sales to the CHS bands on Tuesday, August 17. There is no need to show a flyer, mention the band, or order at a specific time. Pizza Factory is open from 11 am to 9 pm Tuesday and is located on Highway 50 at Airport Road.

This year has been extremely challenging and with the impact of Covid; many of our families are struggling to ensure they can celebrate Christmas. However, generous community members have come together determined to help these families have a Christmas celebration not even Covid can stop.

Senator Square: Carson High School senior project aims to abolish modern slavery

Senior Projects, a Carson High School graduation requirement, are in full swing, and every year a host of new topics are set into motion by students who take it very seriously, students who take it upon themselves to make a difference in the lives of others. One such senior, Sarah Sever, is motivated to create awareness about a wide-ranging and ever growing atrocity affecting young women in America.

The Carson City Band Association, Inc. is hosting its annual Wine, Music, Raffle and Silent Auction “Let’s Wine Together” fundraiser at the Governor’s Mansion this Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 5-7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available and may be purchased at the door.
