Break a leg to the Proscenium Players. Their spring production, ‘Bus Stop,’ opens tonight in the Brewery Arts Center Black Box Theater. The whole family is welcome at the DHS Boosters Bingo Night at Dayton High tonight; help them raise funds for this year’s Safe and Sober Grad Night.

In 1964, at the age of 13, he and his family moved to Carson City, the Capital of Nevada. It was there, playing in the school band, that Joe had discovered a love of music that would become the muse that he would follow the rest of his life.

Every first Saturday over 30 shops, restaurants, businesses, and organizations stock up on wine and goodies and throw open their doors to the crowds of merry-makers. It's always a great reason to explore downtown. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 and you have until 5 p.m. to hit as many stops as possible before the raffle begins.

Nevada Author Releases Debut Solo Album

The self-produced album is being distributed worldwide by CD Baby and is available for streaming and download on iTunes, Spotify, Rhapsody, Google Play, iHeartRadio, Tidal, and other music stores. The eight tracks on the debut album have also been incorporated into a sync-licensing program through YouTube and other partners.

Lineup for Brewery Arts Center's free summer concert series
Submitted by Brett Fisher on Sat, 04/30/2016 - 9:00amThe Brewery Arts Center (BAC) in downtown Carson City will be hosting a free summer concert series this year, sponsored by the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation.
Through the efforts of the BAC, Carson City was one of 15 cities nationwide awarded the concert series for 2016.
The Levitt AMP Carson City Music Series kicks off June 4 and will run every Saturday evening through August 6 with live music starting at 7 p.m. along Minnesota Street next to the BAC. The 10-week music series will include one Friday night show on June 17.
The concert series is free and open to the public.

Each year about this time, Lorin Rowan and Chris Rowan bring patrons an evening of music that includes both new and old original songs and an array of everything from rock and pop to Americana and bluegrass.
Well versed in many genres and presented accoustically with beautiful harmonies, an evening with The Rowans is always a delight.
“This is something we always look forward to,” Lorin said.
