Ogres-Holm Pottery celebrates grand opening in Carson City

The pottery studio, learning center and gallery cut the ribbon Saturday at 1308 South Carson Street inside the Carson Mall.

Law enforcement officers responding to reports of man carrying a gun in the 1100 block of William Street, near the offices of the Nevada Public Utilities Commission. Callers to 911 reported he was acting strangely.
Suspect reported as an older white male, wearing blue shirt with gray pants.
Officers don't believe this is related to an earlier armed robbery on Winne Lane.

EPA proposes to add Nevada's Anaconda mine site in Lyon County to National Priorities List
