A vehicle vs motorcycle accident was reported just after 6:30 p.m. near Woodside and Fairview Friday afternoon.

The motorcyclist was reported to be conscious and walking around but was “hit pretty hard” according to those on scene.

First responders are enroute.

Traffic accident with injuries reported at Northridge and Roop

According to dispatch a traffic accident occurred on Northridge and Roop just before 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

A bicyclist was hit but was able to get up and walk away from the scene.

First responders are enroute now.

Carson City arrests: Man accused of violating stalking, harassment protection order

A 39-year-old Wellington man was arrested Wednesday for two counts suspicion of violation of an extended protection order placed on him for stalking and harassment, a Carson City sheriff's report states.

A Carson City man died Saturday when he fell 25-feet from a rock formation while hiking the Singas Creek trail in Paradise Valley.

Carson City first responders called to traffic accident involving a child on I-580 in Carson City

UPDATE: According to a family member, the little boy who is 6 years old was riding with his family under the freeway on the bike paths and crashed. His father did not have his cell phone on his person and ran up to the freeway to flag down help.
The little boy is doing well.

The accident occurred on Northbound I-580 just past 5th Street overpass.

Dispatch advised an accident may have occurred after a child was riding a bike on the freeway.

Just after 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon an injury accident involving a vehicle and a light pole in front of the Max Casino was reported to dispatch.

The engine on scene has requested a rescue.

Just after 10:30 Saturday morning a two car vehicle crash was reported at 5th Street and South Carson Meadows.

Carson City emergency crews respond to teenager injured in horse riding accident

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Sunday afternoon to Deer Run Road and Sedge Road for a teenager who was injured after falling from a horse.

Motorcycle accident reported near Highway 50 and Drako Friday afternoon

A motorcycle accident was reported just before 3:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 50 and Drako Way.

According to the 911 caller, a dirt biker appeared to have crashed and broken their arm and possibly their shoulder.

Central Lyon first responders save riders from ATV crash near Sutro Tunnel

Yesterday Central Lyon County Fire Department responded to the Sutro Tunnel area for reports of an ATV accident. Crews were able to get all four occupants out to safety where they all received medical care.

A two-vehicle accident with injury was reported at 12:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon near the intersection of College Parkway and Nye.

Non-injury accident reported on Roop involving vehicle and light pole

According to dispatch, a non-injury accident was reported at 2:15 on Roop Street. A vehicle pulling a trailer appears to have lost control and struck a light pole. There are no injuries reported at this time.

Motorists should use alternate routes or use caution in the area.

Nevada Highway Patrol investigates fatal rollover incident near Johnson Lane Friday night

According to NHP Northern Command, a fatal rollover occurred just before 10 p.m. Friday night, resulting in at least one confirmed fatality.

The fatal crash occurred in the Northbound lanes of 395 at Johnson Lane in Carson City, which was shut down for the investigation. Two vehicles were involved in the accident, which included a rollover and ejection.

One person was confirmed deceased at the scene. NHP believes impairment was a factor.

The deceased's name has not been released at this time.

Car versus Bus vehicle accident reported at College and Lompa Friday evening

An accident between a bus and a vehicle was reported in the area of College and Lompa just before 5 p.m. on Friday evening.

Dispatch reported that a vehicle struck the bus before two suspects from the vehicle fled on foot. People on scene reported someone at the scene involved with the crash appeared intoxicated.

However, once deputies arrived all individuals involved with the accident were still on scene and spoke with deputies.

Deputies are on scene providing traffic control.

Dispatch advised a motorcyclist hit a curb and crashed and the rider was down.

Carson City, Douglas County firefighters face off in friendly competition to raise money for stair climb

The Carson City Fire Department is on scene near the Fox on Carson Street, and traffic is facing a slight delay, but there’s no accident. Instead, the delays are being caused by local residents slowing to give what they can to the firefighters raising money for “Climbing for a Cure,” a rigorous nation-wide stair climb in Seattle, which raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Go Fund Me page established for family of Dayton man killed in Highway 50 pedestrian crash

A Go Fund Me account has been established for a Dayton man who was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash as he was returning home on an ATV on Highway 50. The incident is currently being investigated by the Nevada Highway Patrol.
