CARSON CITY — Carson’s Got Talent, an evening extravaganza of regional talent at the Bob Boldrick Theater, April 14 at 6:30 p.m., announced its panel of celebrity judges this week.

CARSON CITY — The Nevada State Museum, in partnership with the Reno Coin Club, will be celebrating the 95th annual National Coin Week, April 15-21, with a special event planned at the museum on Friday, April 20.

An 18-year-old Carson City man arrested early Monday morning faces numerous charges including suspicion of felony eluding a police officer and misdemeanor reckless driving, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

When it comes to water, Mother Nature is picking favorites in the North-South rivalry. Nevada water managers have closely watched the snow for months to determine how much water would be available as runoff for drinking and farming in a dry year for much of the lower Western states.

The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit will soon begin the process of opening recreational facilities in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Weather and snow conditions permitting, Inspiration Point will be the first site to open on Saturday, April 14.
