Carson City man arrested for multiple warrants, resisting and obstruction following illegal RV call
On Thursday morning, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Westcreek Lane in Carson City on report of an illegally parked RV.
When deputies arrived, they found the RV in front of a residence where a man was sitting in the front yard. The man looked at deputies, stood up, and went inside.
Deputies told the man to stop multiple times, but the man ignored deputies and went inside the house.
There were two motorcycles in front of the house, one of which was registered to the man which came back with three warrants out of Lyon and Storey Counties for failure to appear.
Deputies knocked and rang the doorbell multiple times to no avail.
Deputies made contact with the man’s father in the backyard of the residence, and informed him they needed to speak with the man.
The father went inside the house and attempted to convince the man to come outside and speak to deputies, but the man refused.
Deputies told the father the man had several warrants for his arrest, and the father agreed to allow them entry into the home.
Deputies went to the door of the man’s locked bedroom and instructed him he was under arrest and if he did not unlock the door they would break it down. Still, the man ignored them.
Finally, deputies used a door ram to gain entry into the bedroom and found the man sitting on a bed smoking a cigarette.
He was taken into custody for three warrants, obstruction, and resisting a public officer.
Bail: $6,534; $5,710 cash only
