Nevada July unemployment rate continues downward trend; 3.6 percent in Carson City area
Seasonally adjusted estimates account for regularly seen economic patterns, with the following estimates not seasonally adjusted.
In the three Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA), the unemployment rates were 3.6 percent in the Carson area, 3.2 percent in Reno and 5.6 percent in the Las Vegas area.
In June, Carson City's area unemployment was 3.7 percent, Reno unemployment was 3.3 percent and Las Vegas, 5.7 percent.
In Nevada’s counties, the lowest unemployment rate was in Eureka County at 2.9 percent, and Nye County had the highest rate at 5.6 percent.
