Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club celebrates Lake Tahoe at Nevada Museum of Art
The Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club takes the opportunity of the closing of the acclaimed art history of Lake Tahoe, Donner, and the surrounding Sierra region to celebrate our connection to this national treasure. If you have not seen the exhibit, this is the last chance; if you have, come enjoy it again, with an optional guided tour.
The evening also includes a chef's table dinner prepared by Chez Louie as well as entertainment by the Ghost of Mark Twain to honor the lake, the history, and current conservation efforts. Visit the Nevada Museum of Art web page on the exhibition at Tahoe: A Visual History.
Tickets can be purchased at http://toiyabe-celebrates-tahoe.com. This is a limited event, and only 60 tickets will be sold. Ticket sales help the Toiyabe Chapter to continue its conservation efforts at Lake Tahoe, in Nevada, and in eastern California.
