Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Finnegan
Wouldn’t you like to celebrate Christmas with a new forever friend purring by your side? Meet Finnegan, also known as Finn. This sweet little guy is quite the character; playful, intelligent, and eager to learn.
Finn appeared at a feral colony when he was about 3 months old. A caretaker of the colony brought him home, had him neutered, had all his shots, and cared for him until recently when he came to Catmandu. He is a friendly guy, slowly learning how to be around other animals.
High energy and exuberant, Finn can play rough at times so would not do well with small children. He might do best as an only cat or with a small cat or dog that can match his bold spirited playfulness.
Now 7 months old, Finn has learned his name and will come when you call him. He loves to lick your nose, chin and cheek and gives the best kitty kisses. Finn would love a home of his own this Christmas.
Let’s hear from Finn: “Living outside in the colony was pretty scary and cold. I dream of being an indoor kitty where I can be safe and warm with my humans and maybe a playmate. I hope you will come to Catmandu this weekend to meet me and some of my pals. There are 3 other kittens and lots of big grown-up cats hoping to be adopted by a nice human. See you this weekend!”
If you would like to meet Finn or any of the many kitties at Catmandu, please visit us at 1829 Brown Street from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Catmandu is a local nonprofit no kill cat rescue and sanctuary. Currently we have over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you.
