Wylder Hope Valley hosts Interpretive History Programs
Wylder Hope Valley Hotel continues its Eastern Sierra speaker series with two more campfire presentations on Saturday and Sunday November 20th and 21st .
On Saturday November 20th at 4:00PM “Reflections of Lake Tahoe.” Local historian David Woodruff takes a look back at the many people and events that have helped shape Lake Tahoe over the past 160 years and examines the unsuccessful efforts to create a Lake Tahoe National Park.
And on Sunday November 21 at 10:00AM, take “A Sentimental Journey Along Carson Pass.” From Kit Carson to Kirkwood, extensive research and vintage photographs reveal the little know history of one of California’ favorite mountain highways.
Both campfire programs are about 45 minutes, free, and open to the public. In case of inclement weather, programs will be held indoors. For more information call (760) 920-8061
