Carson Catalina Apartments annual haunted house open to public at no charge
Carson Catalina Apartments in Carson City announced Tuesday that its 5th Annual Haunted House will be free and open to the public this year. The Haunted House has become a complex event that incorporates animatronics, live actors, mazes, and much more. The staff begin building the haunted house about 2 months before opening day, Halloween.
“It just gets more and more complex and scary every year”, said Leasing Consultant Arik Bannister, “many people in the past have encouraged us to open it to the public, so we’re finally doing it.”
In addition to the Haunted House, there will also be snacks, hot chocolate, and a palm reader.
“Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I really enjoy sharing it with as many people as possible,” said Property Manager Pepper Kemp. Kemp started the haunted house in 2015, and as the years have gone by, she and her staff of 4 have transformed the event into one of the most memorable events to attend on Halloween. “We just really commit to out-doing ourselves every year, so it just gets bigger and better,” said Bannister.
The Carson Catalina Apartments 5th Annual Haunted House will be open on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31 from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
