The Inspector General is a 1949 musical comedy film starring Danny Kaye as an illiterate vagabond who is mistaken for a government official in a small, corrupt Eastern European village. This film may be the best example of Danny Kaye's uncanny talent of spewing tongue-twisting lyrics, and is a fun show for the whole family.
