Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Snowflake
Happy Nevada Day! Do not let the weekend pass by without visiting Catmandu to meet a sweetheart kitty named Snowflake. While you would expect a cat named Snowflake to be white, she is black. She does, however, have two snowflake shaped white stars on her chest and belly, hence the name.
Snowflake is a unique looking cat. In addition to longer legs in the back which give her a “bunny” silhouette and a stubby little Manx tail, she has a short nose and a somewhat flat, round face. Big green eyes complete the picture. Approximately 7.5 years old, she is in the prime of her life and has many good years left to spend with her forever family.
While reserved with strangers and a little slow to warm up, she is a sweetie once she knows and trusts you. Snowflake loves pets and having her back scratched.
She has good manners and no bad habits. Snowflake gets along with her roommates in Momcat’s office; however, she is easily intimidated by other cats and would not do well in a home with an alpha cat or multiple cats that might bully her. She would likely be perfectly happy as an only kitty. It might take her a little extra time to adjust to a new home, but I guarantee she will be worth it.
If you would like to meet Snowflake and her kitty friends at Catmandu, please stop by Friday – Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1829 Brown Street.
Currently Catmandu has over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow.
