Carson High School tennis teams donate used tennis balls to Nevada Humane Society
Rather than tossing used tennis balls in the trash, Carson High School boys tennis team player David Sulik had a different idea and suggested the CHS teams donate the used ones to an animal shelter at the end of the season.
Volunteer Coach Amy Gretsch contacted the Nevada Humane Society, which said they would love to have them. Tennis balls are a fetch favorite for dogs.
Last Friday Gretsch donated four boxes of used tennis balls for dogs being shelter at the Nevada Humane Society in Carson City. There's enough tennis balls for them to enjoy for quite a while.
