Nevada Business Connections New Advisory Board Members
Nevada Business Connections is pleased and proud to announce two new members on our Advisory Board. Amy Ginder, Director of Institutional Research at Western Nevada College, and Dr. Fred Steinmann, Managing Principal at EDSolutions LLC.
Amy Ginder joins Western Nevada College as the Director of Development at the WNC Foundation. She brings 13 years of outreach and communications experience, including four years in higher education through the University Studies Abroad Consortium located at UNR. She also worked at the Nevada Commission on Tourism. Amy recently returned from the East Coast, where she completed her master’s degree at New York University.
“I’m thrilled to be back in Nevada,” she said. “I’m looking forward to working with the dedicated faculty, staff and friends of WNC.”
Dr. Steinmann’s areas of research and interest include public administration, public finance and government budgeting, public policy analysis, real estate development and finance, quantitative methods and statistics, and economic development (including real estate development and land reuse, small business development and entrepreneurship, workforce development and job training, economic development marketing and attraction, tech‐transfer and technology‐based development, and neighborhood and community development). His company, EDSolutions LLC, is an independent consulting firm specializing in redevelopment, economic development, fiscal impact analysis, public finance, real estate development, retail‐commercial development, and public policy.
Nevada Business Connections (NBC) is a private business recruitment and expansion organization formed in July, 2008. NBC currently has 230 members and serves northern Nevada with offices in Carson City and Reno. Kris Holt is the Executive Director.
