Robotics Nights Return to Douglas County Public Library in Minden through September
Douglas County 4-H, in partnership with DRI and Nevada Robotics, is hosting a series of Robotics Nights at the Douglas County Public Library at 1625 Library Ln, Minden for youth ages 11-14 starting Sept. 7.
Robotics is certainly an excellent way to spark an interest in technology and coding, but it also helps develop concentration, enhance problem-solving skills and boost creativity in a challenging, yet fun atmosphere of “learning by doing.”
Youth will build a competition-grade robot and learn to program it to follow a set of instructions.
From there, participants will explore and consider more and more elaborate challenges. Anyone interested is encouraged to register early, as space is limited.
Robotics Nights will be held September 7, 13, 20, 26 and October 3 at the Douglas County Public Library located at 1625 Library Lane, Minden.
