Chili's Carson City among 1,300 restaurants to give Tuesday's entire profits to hurricane relief
On Tuesday, Sept. 5, Chili's Bar and Grill will donate 100 percent of profits from its restaurants nationwide, including Carson City, to the relief efforts of those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
"We’ve heard feedback from both our ChiliHeads and Guests from across the country whose hearts and thoughts are with those affected and want a way to help," said Chili's President Kelli Valade in a news release. "Therefore, on Sept. 5, all Chili’s restaurants nationwide will host a special Donate Profits Day with the goal of raising $250,000 for local food banks to help those affected by this terrible tragedy.
"In times of great need, we are seeing the true generosity of the human spirit playing out right before our eyes. We are proud to be a part of this community and know that Texas and Louisiana will recover as we all come together to support them," Valade said.
To participate, guests should bring their appetites to Chilis and enjoy a great meal knowing all restaurant profits will be going directly to the relief efforts, said Heather Redlark, manager of the Carson City Chili's Bar and Grill.
Chili's is located at 3784 US Hwy 395. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
