Carson City Library Tech Two classes to offer Excel training
In September, the Carson City Library will again offer basic introductory computer classes, two of which address Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel Formatting will be offered at 6:00 pm on September 10th and is a prerequisite to the second class, Microsoft Excel Calculations offered at 6:00 pm September 17th.
Students registering for Microsoft Excel Calculations must have complete Microsoft Excel Formatting or have prior approval from the instructor, Susan Antipa. Ms. Antipa can be reached by calling 775 887-2244 or emailing to smantipa@clan.lib.nv.us. Registration is required for all computer classes.
Additional September classes include Introduction to Mouse and Keyboard, Computers for Beginners, Introduction to Facebook, Introduction to Windows 7 and a class in the use and navigation of Lynda.com, an online video tutorial company that expertly teaches skills useful in today’s ever-changing sphere of technology.
