Adams Hub kicks off Carson City Lunch and Learn series
Adams Hub for Innovation, located in the heart of downtown Carson City is the city’s original small business resource and innovation center. The Hub’s focus is on assisting startups and existing businesses and offers free workshops and seminars to the public along with one-on-one business mentoring and its popular Lunch & Learns.
“We are happy to announce that we have a great lineup of interesting, one-hour sessions for people who want to grab takeout and join us for an opportunity to gain a bit of knowledge,” said Elaine Barkdull-Spencer, director of The Studio at Adams Hub. “Nobody likes to eat lunch alone or have to dine in their hot car. And how easy would it be to ask a friend to lunch and meet them at Adams Hub for good company and to learn something worthwhile?"
Adams Hub has a complete schedule of assorted topics presented by subject matter experts. The 12 noon to 1p.m. sessions comprise of business development, financial advice, social media training, communications skills, plus more.
July’s schedule includes Business Development 101, Retirement Planning for Individuals, and What’s Possible with Linkedin. August’s schedule includes Investing for Women, Cyber Security, Social Security Overview, Business Development, How to use Social Media for your Business, and How to Communicate so that People Listen.
