Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Francine
Celebrate the 4th of July early with an explosion of sweetness from Francine, our Cat of the Week.
About 6 years old, this short haired dilute calico is absolutely adorable, unbelievably friendly and sweet. In spite of being abused and neglected in a previous home, Francine longs for human love and affection. She loves everybody; cats, dogs, and people. She does give little love-bites when overstimulated, so would not do well with babies or small children.
Francine had a broken leg that was never set properly leaving her with a quirky walk. This doesn’t slow her down, but only adds to her charm. After abuse and neglect, this little kitty deserves a special forever home with people that will give her all the love she deserves. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and waiting for her forever home.
If you would like to meet Francine this weekend, please visit Catmandu at 1829 Brown Street. Our normal hours are Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please note: Catmandu will be closed to the public from June 19 through July 27 for repairs and maintenance. To learn more about this temporary closure or about Catmandu, please visit our website at: https://catmanducc.org.
Catmandu is a cage-free non-profit cat rescue, adoption center and sanctuary. We currently have over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you.
