Today's Carson City Symphony Concert Moves Indoors at Governor's Mansion
Because of the strong possibility of rain this afternoon, the Carson City Symphony's Pops Party Concert today (June 11) is being moved to the North Room at the Governor's Mansion. Occupancy is limited, but "the show must go on." Pre-entertainment begins at 3:30 p.m.
For those who cannot be accommodated inside the North Room, the audience is welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs, and some shelter will be provided just outside the North Room. Snacks, beverages, and raffle tickets will be on sale before and during the concert.
This free concert is supported, in part, with public funding through the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. For further information, call the Symphony at 775-883-4154 or check the web site: CCSymphony.com.
