Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Tiki
Looking for a sweet, quiet companion? Meet Tiki. This pretty short-haired tabby girl is barely 6 years old with many years ahead of her. Orphaned when her owner died, she is scared and confused and desperately needs a quiet home where she can feel safe.
Overwhelmed by all the activity at Catmandu, she has claimed the bottom of a cabin as her safe spot. Tiki hides as soon as people arrive and the shelter gets busy and noisy. This makes finding a forever home difficult for her.
Once she feels comfortable, she is a sweetheart who likes attention and enjoys being petted. In a quiet home with a patient, cat-savvy person, and time to adjust, Tiki will surely blossom into a wonderful and loving companion.
If you have a quiet home, patience, and love in your heart for a sweet, scared girl please come and meet Tiki this weekend at Catmandu.
As with all Catmandu residents, Tiki has been spayed/neutered and is up to date on her shots. We are open Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1829 Brown Street.
Catmandu is a cage-free non-profit cat rescue, adoption center and sanctuary. We currently have over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you.
