Murphy the 'miracle dog' left for dead is adopted
Murphy the miracle dog was adopted by Honey Tapley and family on Thursday, May 9.
Honey was one of the good samaritans who stopped to help him after he had been hit on Highway 50 in Mound House and left for dead.
Murphy was neutered on Thursday, and received a good prognosis report from Dr. Matt at Lone Mountain Vet in Carson City. He will probably always have a little bit of discomfort in the area of the injury, but he should not require any additional surgery or major medical care.
Murphy is doing great in his forever home, and we at Dog Town Rescue would like to thank everyone who helped with his rescue and recovery.
Below is a video recorded in March about his injuries.
