Family Fun Saturday: Nevada Reptiles at the Nevada State Museum April 15th
Saturday, April 15th come to the Nevada State Museum to learn about Nevada’s diverse reptiles.
Children and adults can learn why reptiles are cold-blooded, examine snake and lizard skins in the lab, discover our state reptile, the desert tortoise, and sculpt and paint a lizard or snake to take home.
Visitors may study models of venomous and non-venomous snakes, the Gila Monster, chuckwalla, and Nevada’s wide variety of other reptiles who make their home in the Great Basin desert.
