Carson City's Catmandu birthday bash postponed until summer
In light of ever-increasing Coronavirus fears and the CDC recommendations that people, especially those in high-risk groups, avoid crowds and public gatherings; Catmandu has regretfully decided to postpone the Birthday Bash party scheduled for March 28 at the Carson Nugget until June or July.
Many of our supporters and volunteers fall into the high-risk group that is supposed to avoid crowded events like a big party.
People that have bought tickets are being offered the option of exchanging their tickets for the Plan B event this summer or having their money refunded.
We have had great support from the community and local businesses and have a fabulous collection of $5000-plus in raffle and auction items for the Plan B party this summer! Check out our website for the list.
Many thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, prize donors and ticket-buyers for all their support and the great work they have done so far. It is still going to be a fun and fabulous party, just at a later date.
Please feel free to contact Catmandu regarding your tickets or any questions you may have. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support.
We will be announcing the new date soon and look forward to seeing you at the party this summer! Meow!
