Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Jack
Are you looking for a young, playful and active cat to enjoy and love? Luck is with you because our dear Jack is back.
Jack first came to Catmandu last October as an unneutered stray that followed some people home. Our best efforts to find his previous owners were unsuccessful, so he was neutered, vaccinated and soon adopted.
While we don’t yet know how he feels about other cats or dogs after 4 months as the only cat, it is likely that with a gradual introduction, he would be very happy to have a buddy to play with.
A very big black short-haired teenage kitten, Jack is only about a year old. He is already a big boy and is going to be a large handsome cat when he is fully grown.
Jack needs an active household that will appreciate his desire to run, jump and play. He loves stuffed mice and spring toys and will play fetch with them. He adores wand toys and laser lights, and loves to run and jump to the top of the highest cat tree or piece of furniture.
Jack is also a sweet cuddle bug that loves to be pet and snuggled with when play time is over. He is very social, has a great personality and will be a special friend and companion to the right family.
If you would like to meet Jack, come see him this Friday thru Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1829 Brown Street.
Currently Catmandu has over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you.
