Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Remi
Adorable. That’s the only way to describe Remi.
This pretty girl is a short-haired cabby (calico tabby) approximately 4 years old. Remi is cuddly, curious, friendly and rears up like a circus pony to receive pets. She also likes her backside scratched, and will knead when she is getting loved.
There is a video of her on our Facebook page which gives a small glimpse of just how adorable she really is.
Remi has a very sweet personality and likes to be around people, although it can take her a few minutes to warm up to someone new. She will definitely be a lap cat once she is comfortable in her new home.
This kitty likes to help with whatever you might be doing and will be very involved in your daily routine. Remi gets along with other friendly cats, cat-friendly dogs, and calm children, but would not do well in a home where she had to compete for attention.
She likes to play and has a great personality. She is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. Remi was a well-loved member of her former family who tearfully surrendered her when they moved and could not find cat-friendly housing.
All in all, I don’t think it is possible to find a sweeter and better cat than Remi. If you would like to meet this adorable girl, please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire on our website and plan to come see her at Catmandu, 1829 Brown Street. We are open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Catmandu is a local cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. At Catmandu we care for an average of 80 cats that would otherwise be roaming the streets of Carson City. Some cats are adoptable and waiting for forever homes. Others are sanctuary cats who are very skittish with strangers, semi-feral or medically fragile felines; they will live most if not all of their remaining years at Catmandu. All of our cats are spayed/neutered and up to date on their shots. If you would like to volunteer and/or make a donation, please visit our website at: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate any help we receive from the community, so we can continue to care for Carson City’s orphaned, homeless and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you!
