Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cats of the Week: Mona and Lucy
Warm your heart, your lap and your home with this sweet mother-daughter pair, Mona and Lucy.
Mona is a lovely short-haired grey tabby lady, just one and a half years old. A little reserved, but once she gets to know you, she is sweet and playful. Her daughter Lucy is an adorable 8-month-old short-haired calico girl.
She is playful and loves to be petted. Bright-eyed and curious, she is a little unsure in new situations but an absolute delight once she is comfortable.
They are a bonded pair, so we would like them to be adopted together. While not constantly on top of each other, they are almost always near each other and rely on one another for security.
These sweet girls were part of an indoor colony that became homeless when one of their primary caretakers suffered a massive stroke and the remaining caretaker had to move out of state.
They are both spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. They are good with other cats, but would do best in a home without dogs or small children.
If you would like to meet them, please come by Catmandu this weekend, Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are located at 1829 Brown Street.
Currently Catmandu has over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you.
